Seale, Alabama- George John Paulshock, Jr., 86, of Seale, Alabama died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM EST at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Dan O’Connell officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. A rosary prayer service will be Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM at the funeral home where the family will receive friends until 7:00 PM. Mr. Paulshock was born June 28, 1930 in Hazelton, Pennsylvania to the late George Paulshock and Verna Hannisick-Paulshock. He retired a E8 with over 22 years service from the U.S. Army, serving in The Korean Conflict and The Viet Nam Era. He was a member and usher of Holy Family Catholic Church and member of Knights of Columbus for over 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Judith Ford-Paulshock, 2 brothers, John G. Paulshock of Freeland, Pennsylvania, and James M. Paulshock of Cunningham, Pennsylvania, 3 step children, Jason Ford and wife, Brandi of Mathews, North Carolina, Melinda Ford-Ray and husband, Phillip of Phenix City, and John Ford of Columbus, Georgia. 5 step grandchildren, Josiah, Micah, Zachariah, Noah, and Sadie. nieces and nephews.
