Willie Howard "Sonny" Camp. Jr., 78, of Panama City Beach, Florida, died Saturday, March, 7, 2020 at his son's home in Salem, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home & Crematory beginning at 4:00 PM est.

Mr. Camp was born September 1, 1941 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Willie Howard Camp and Mary Kelly Camp. He was an Auburn graduate and lifelong supporter and fan of all Auburn University activities, retired educator and coach having taught in Phenix City Public Schools, and Escambia County, Florida, enjoyed watching movies, and eating at Chili's.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Norma Jean Hooper Camp, a son, Chad Hooper Camp and wife, Deborah Cherie, a daughter, Mary Jean Burkes, 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Camp, Lauren Camp, Jordan Burkes, and Jackson Burkes, a sister, Mattie Lou Leonard, nieces, nephews, and cousins,
