Ulysses "Leo" Moon, 72 of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 9, 1947 in Hartford, AL, son of the late Rex Day and Willie Alice Moon Thorn.

Mr. Moon was a U.S. Army Veteran, and was a retired shipping supervisor for Boral Brick. He loved reading, fishing and cooking, especially for his granddaughters. He loved life and wasn't afraid to live. Survivors include his wife BJ Moon, a son Richard Jeffrey Moon (Tammy Suzette), two grandchildren, Kallie Moon and Olivia Moon, two sisters, Patricia Paul and Rachel Mears and two brothers, Herschel Thorn and Jerry Thorn.
