Tracy Colbert Obituary

Tracy Bolin Colbert, a radiant beacon of joy and unwavering kindness, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2024, at the age of 41, in Smiths Station, Alabama. Born on November 3, 1982, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Tracy's infectious laughter and boundless energy were a gift to all who knew her.

Tracy, affectionately known by her loved ones as a dedicated daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend, is survived by a family who adored her: her father Roger Bolin, her mother Rhonda Roberts Bolin, her devoted husband of 10 years, Heath Colbert, her loving sister Bridget Bolin Thompson (Robert), and her cherished nieces and nephews—Hunter, Kayleigh, William, Harper, Caroline, Sadie, and Sophie. Her playful spirit will also be missed by her beloved pet miniature Australian Shepherd, Emma, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends whose lives she touched.

A proud alumna of Glenwood High School, Class of 2001, Tracy's academic achievements were only the beginning of a life marked by dedication and service. She carried these traits into her professional life, where she was a respected and valued employee at Phenix Girard Bank for 23 years. Her colleagues knew her as someone who brought enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to every project and interaction.

Tracy's passions extended well beyond the walls of the bank. She was an avid supporter of the University of Georgia football team and the Atlanta Braves, embodying the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Her love for sports was paralleled by her enjoyment of games, music, and television, which she often shared with friends and family. Tracy also cherished her time at the beach and her moments of relaxation by the swimming pool, where she was often the life of the party.

Those who knew Tracy would describe her as adventurous, passionate, and exceptionally kind. Her adventurous spirit led her on many journeys, both literal and metaphorical, always eager to explore new horizons and embrace life's challenges with a smile. Her passion was evident in every endeavor she undertook, whether cheering on her favorite teams, nurturing relationships, or pursuing her wide array of interests. Above all, Tracy's kindness was her hallmark; it defined her interactions and left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Tracy's life was one of vibrant engagement, heartfelt connections, and relentless positivity. Even in moments of adversity, she remained a source of comfort and inspiration to those around her. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to cross her path.

As Tracy embarks on her final journey, her spirit of adventure continues. She leaves behind a world that is infinitely brighter for her presence and a constellation of hearts grateful for the time spent in her light. Tracy Bolin Colbert's story is not one of sorrow but a celebration—a celebration of a life lived to the fullest, a heart given freely, and a soul that will forever dance in the hearts she leaves behind.

While we mourn the loss of our beloved Tracy, we also honor and cherish the indelible mark she has left on our lives. We bid her farewell as she takes her place in heaven, knowing that her warmth will continue to guide us, just as it always has. Tracy's journey on earth has concluded, but her story—woven into the fabric of so many lives—will never end.
