Tommy "Jap" Colwell, 56, of Phenix City, AL passed away on November 28, 2021 in Columbus, Georgia.
Tommy was born on November 15, 1965 to Walter "Tony" Colwell and Keiko Colwell in Hamilton, Georgia. He married Jewel Colwell on July 7, 2007.
He was a kind man and left a smile on everyone's face. He loved life and never met a stranger.
"Jap" as he was affectionally called was a hard worker and worked for Kodak for 27 years as a senior maintenance tech. He loved animals especially his cats and dogs.
Mr. Colwell is survived by his spouse Jewel Colwell of Phenix City, AL; five children, Jeremy Lenoir (Tammie), Trent Colwell, Kaylyn Colwell, Mandy Deen Lenoir (Terry), and Marcus Lenoir (Julie); four grandchildren, Tyler Lenoir, Cody Lenoir, Madelyn Lenoir, and Baylee Lenoir; his parents, Tony and Keiko Colwell; multiple loved ones family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL.
Memorial service will be on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 at 2:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home with Chaplain Walter Phillips Jr. officiating.
