Thelma White Verville

Thelma White Verville, 83, of Salem, Alabama passed away on January 03, 2022 at her home, surrounded by family.  

A Graveside Service will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery on January 21, 2022 at 2:00pm ET. 

Mrs. Verville was born on December 9, 1938 to the late Ralph White and Agnes McLendon White in Savannah, Georgia. She retired from Bellsouth as a telephone operator and was an active member in the Pioneers Charity organization. Mrs. Verville loved her family, was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her gracious and generous nature. 

Mrs. Verville is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lionel "Neal" Verville and her son, David Verville. Surviving are her three children, Robert Verville (Arlie), Linda McKee (Jay), and Teresa Heath (Jeffery Roberson); five grandchildren, Robert Verville Jr., Russell Verville, Rebecca McCardle, Phillip Huckeba, and Zachary Luke; and five great-grandchildren, Jacob Verville, Justin McCardle, Calynn Verville, Amelia Luke, and Corley Luke.
