Terry Lee Myers, age 75 of Phenix City, AL (formerly from Sturgis, MI), passed away Thursday morning, August 1 at Emory St. Joseph, Atlanta, GA.
He was born September 23, 1948 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Harold C. Milligan and Beverly (Wheeler) Milligan.
Terry spent time from 1968-1969 in Vietnam in service for our country. When he returned home he was a self taught auto body repairman. He loved to make chop top trucks and other special toys. He ran his own business, Terry's Car Care Center. He loved to spend time with many family and friends.
He is survived by his four loving children, Lori (Bill) Wetzel, Bronson, MI, Jessica Edwards, LaGrange, IN, Joshua Myers, Bronson, MI, James (Jessica) Myers, Kansas. Fourteen grandchildren, Katie (Caleb) Mallow, Tyler Wetzel, Cody (Carlie) Wetzel, Catherine and Alexzander Wetzel. Elise, Larain and James Edwards. Joshua II, Jackson and Keera Myers. James, Daniel and Logan Myers. Three great grandchildren, Luke, Bella and William Mallow and one more great on the way, Baby Wetzel. Brothers, Ron (Anita) Myers Columbus, GA, Rick Myers, Sturgis, MI, Chris (Sue) Milligan, Sturgis, MI, Scott (Renee) Myers, Thornton, CO, Randy (Cedrina) Myers, Moreno Valley, CA. And several nieces and nephews and great and great, great nieces and nephews. A special friend, Larry Brown, Phenix City, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Milligan, Richard Myers and Beverly Miller. Step-dad, David Miller, niece Chrissy Myers, who he dearly missed, and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Myers.
In honoring Terry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on September 8, 2024 from 1-4PM E.T. at VFW Post 1355 in Sturgis, MI. A private Military service will also be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105. St. Judes was very near and dear to Terry's heart.
