Terry was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Sherry Lynn Whittley, his mother, Glinda Faye Norsworthy, his father, Jessie Guthrie Sr., his brother, Robert R. Coulter Jr., and his sister, Laura Leigh Guthrie. Despite these profound losses, Terry's spirit remained unbroken, and he continued to spread love and kindness to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and affection, carried on by his sisters, Patricia Watford, Vivian Tate (Mike), Maryann Green, and Shelia Lawrence, as well as his brothers, William (Bill) Tallan, Bobby Lee Guthrie, and Jessie Lee Guthrie. His numerous nieces and nephews will forever hold dear the memories of their fun-loving and caring uncle.
Terry's professional life as a painter and sheetrock construction worker showcased his meticulous craftsmanship and unwavering work ethic.
Beyond his work, Terry was an avid fisherman, finding solace and joy in the tranquil waters of his favorite fishing spots. His love for restoring cars was more than a hobby; it was a passion that allowed him to breathe new life into classic vehicles.
