Susie Lee Grayson

Susie Lee Grayson, 87, of Phenix City , AL passed away on November 08, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Phenix City. Susie was born on May 2,1934 to Perry Davis and Zora Lee Hagler-Davis in Blue Springs, AL. She was a long-time member of Faith Temple Assembly of God Church and a retired textile worker having worked for 39 years in the Mills. In her spare time Mrs. Grayson enjoyed reading her Bible.

She is survived by six children, Brenda Rafter (Dale), Patricia Lett (Steve), Johnny Wood, Phillip Grayson (Donna), Diane Henderson, and Darrell Wood (Susan); three sisters, Frances Tharp, Jewel Grayson (Lamar), and Alice Smith (Joe); and numerous  grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her spouse Joe Hamp Grayson; one son, Ronnie Wood; her parents and three siblings, Mary Harrell, Don Davis, and Dan Davis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL. 

Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 11th, 2021 at 1:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Emory Evans and Rev. Frances Corbin officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, AL.
