Steven "Ray" Harris

Steven "Ray" Harris, 65, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in Elmore, Alabama. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 5, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama with Dr. Karen McDonald officiating.

Ray was born May 28, 1958 to Rendol Desa Harris and Ella Ruth Lovelace in Marietta, Georgia. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and lived his life with compassion for others. He worked as a carpenter for many years, was an avid Alabama football fan and loved building things with his hands.

Surviving are his brother, Randy Harris and sister, Dr. Karen McDonald.
