Stanley Perdomo was born on May 14, 1993. Stanley passed away on September 12, 2023. Loving husband of Ashley Perdomo. Cherished father of Joshua Bauman and Adelynne Felix. Devoted son of Leonel Perdomo and Maria Sandoval. Dear brother of Lionel and Mariela. Stanley lit up any room he walked into with his infectious personality. His eyes would light up when he talked about riding motorcycles, working out, going dancing, and reminisced on the many years he played baseball. The amount of love and care he held for his parents was unmatched in comparison with others.
Stanley served in The United States Army from May 6, 2014 until the day he passed away. He was assigned to Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airbourne Division where he served as an assistant gunner, machine gunner, and squad leader for 25 months before he was reassigned to Charlie Company as an anti-armor specialist and rifle squad leader for 50 months. His performance and expertise led him to being selected to serve as a Drill Sergeant in Alpha Company, 1-50 IN BN on 25 October 2021.
SSG Perdomo’s achievements reflect great credibility upon himself and his service. He created a reputation that exemplified the highest standards of professionalism as a Noncommissioned Officer. He was awarded three Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, two Good Conduct Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Medal, two Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbons, the Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Ribbon, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Expert Infantryman’s Badge, the Senior Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge, the Drill Sergeant Badge an d the Expert Marksmanship Badge.
