Sherri Sauter Obituary

Sherri Lynn Sauter, known lovingly as Sherri to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024, in Columbus, Georgia. Born on June 10, 1982, in Fort Benning, Georgia, Sherri's life was a testament to the love and joy she brought into the world.

The beloved daughter of Cathy Key and her husband Terry, Sherri was a cherished sibling to her brothers Eric Hayes and his wife Deanna, Jeffery Hayes, Matt Radford, and James Barnes and his wife Aimee. She was also a loving daughter to Rodney Radford. Her grandparents, Betty and Calvin Wombles, preceded her in death. Throughout her life, Sherri was surrounded by the affection of numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her faithful German Shepherd, Bella, was a constant companion and source of comfort.

Sherri's early education was rooted in the community of her birth, and she carried the values instilled in her throughout her life. Her professional journey was marked by her dedication and warmth, which she shared with all those she encountered. As an operator at Voicelink Answering Service, a team member at Fazoli's Restaurant, and a receptionist for Dr. Declue, Sherri's kindness and attention to detail made her a beloved figure in her workplace and beyond.

A passionate Alabama football fan, Sherri's enthusiasm for the game was contagious. Her love for shopping at Target and Ulta was matched only by her devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. Sherri's faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and interactions with everyone she met.

Sherri's life was a beautiful reflection of her beliefs and passions, and her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to Sherri Lynn Sauter, we celebrate the profound impact she made on our lives and the unwavering love she shared so freely.
