Shelby Dale Hall Thorne

Shelby Dale Hall Thorne, 69, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away June 20th 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church in Phenix City. 

Shelby was born in Red Level, Alabama on March 15th 1954. She was the daughter of Robert and Lena Hall. Surviving family members include husband John Thorne, Jr. Her three children Felicia Sanchez, Marisa Collier (Glenn), and Dewayne Thorne (Kimberly). Her grandchildren Mariah Ladakos (Cody), Tiana Sanchez, Deonte Sanchez, Christina Collier, Christian Collier (Karina), Gage Collier, Lena Collier, Tinsley Thorne, Alleigh Thorne, Brinklee Thorne. Her great-grandchildren Annistyn Ladakos, Miya Woodrum, Blake Collier. Her brother Calvin Hall and sister Lorretta Conger. Her sister-in-law Bobbie Jackson (Donald). Shelby had several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends she loved dearly.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM ET at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, Alabama. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama.
