Sheila Dianne (Smith) Yazzie

Sheila Dianne Yazzie, 61, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 1:00 PM ET at New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Phenix City, Alabama with Rev. Brad McDaniel officiating.

Mrs. Yazzie was born November 18, 1959 to the late, Charles Smith and Monnie Lee Curtis Smith. She worked at The Southern Credit Union as a bank teller and thoroughly enjoyed working in finances. Mrs. Yazzie graduated from Jordan High School in 1977 and was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship Church. She was family oriented, consistently made sure everyone was taken care of, and always knew the right thing to say. Other than her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Dale Yazzie.

Surviving are her mother, Monnie Lee Curtis Smith; two daughters, Roxanne Yazzie and Christine Mobley; granddaughter, Kayla Loyd; and grandson, Tre Mobley.
