Sharon Melinda (Rash) Gann

Sharon Melinda Gann, 67, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Piedmont Midtown Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

A memorial service will be announced later.

Sharon was born March 7, 1955 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Bobby Harrell Rash and Mattie Margaret Jones Rash. She retired from JTM Corporation helping many people at the local Piggly Wiggly Stores. When not working she enjoyed Auburn football, gardening, and pets, especially cats. Most importantly, Sharon enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rexie Lee Gann and brothers, Kelvin Rash and Harold Rash.

Surviving are her son, Greg (Terra) Schoenberger, 2 sisters; Denisa Avant and Alesia (Steven) Smith; 2 grandchildren, Peyton Schoenberger and Reece Schoenberger; 2 great grandchildren, Mila and Miles; 2 sisters in laws, Johnny Faye (Greg) Jones , Connie Jones Clark, and Carol Gann; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
