Sarah Josephine Stringfellow

Sarah Josephine Stringfellow, 84 of Columbus, GA passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Magnolia Manor Senior Living Facility,  Columbus, Georgia.

Mrs. Stringfellow was born August 25, 1936 in Buena Vista, GA, daughter of Hollis Jones and Allie Elizabeth Nix. She is the widow of the late George Earl Stringfellow. She was a homemaker, loved dancing, bowling and puzzles.

The family will have visitation on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Chapel of Colonial Funeral Home at 12:00pm ET - 2:00pm ET.  Interment will be at Newsome Cemetery, Phenix City, Alabama.

She is survived by four children, Charlene Fogt (Rhine), Darlene Moates (Ben), Sarah Stringfellow Duke and Richard Wade (Nena); two sisters, Elizabeth Ward and Pauline Ramsey; four grandchildren, Justin Fogt (Kelsey), Blake Fogt, Brian Rose and Madison Duke, and four great-grandchildren.
