Ruby Nell (Pugh) Hudson

Ruby Nell Hudson (80) of Phenix City, AL passed away September 19th, 2022 in Denver, Colorado. She was born in Grove Hill, Alabama to the late Otis Pugh and Nora Merle Smith.
She worked for many years in the meat department at Piggly Wiggly. She was also an Army wife and spent many years moving around the world with her husband and children. She was a loving mother to her daughters and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of over 50 years; Herman Hudson, sister Ella Wilkerson, sons in laws; Sam Gladwell and Dennis Brooks and granddaughter Melissa Wiggins.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters Janet Gladwell, Hinesville, GA, Barbara Rodriguez (Jesus) Denver, CO and Dorothy Wood (Bill) Eufaula, AL. She is survived by grandchildren Salina Phillips, Robert Quinones, Beth Woods, Kandyse Romero (Fernando) and Devin Worley (Corbin), great grandchildren Tatiana Corchado, Sammy Corchado, Jaylyn Woods, Angelo Sawall, Emerie Santo, Cain Marquis, Ethan Poteat, Aubrey Poteat, Arian Romero and Emilia Romero. Surviving siblings are Gerald Pugh, Eunice Singleton, Robert Pugh and Bobby Smith.
Burial will be a graveside service on October 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm EST at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Phenix City, AL officiated by Elder Muriel Pitts.
