Born on April 27, 1957, to Tracy Emerson Sports and Alice Bush, Ronnie was a lifelong resident of Phenix City, where he cultivated a life rich in family, business, and personal passions.
Ronnie's early years were filled with the bustling energy of a household of siblings. He grew up alongside George, Bobby, James, and William, each contributing to the vibrant tapestry of his childhood memories. Together, they forged a bond that would stand the test of time, a testament to the foundation of love laid down by their parents. He is preceded in death by his brother Tracy Sports and sister Patricia Ann Sports who were also apart of that special bond.
After completing his education, Ronnie channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into the establishment of Ronnie Sports Nursery, a business that would not only become a staple in the local community but also a reflection of his dedication to growth and nurturing. His gentle approach to business earned him the respect and admiration of his peers, and his nursery blossomed under his careful stewardship.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:00AM ET at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, a place that holds special significance for him and his family. His journey on this earth may have concluded, but the seeds he planted in the hearts and minds of those he knew will continue to grow and flourish.
