Robert Gregory Southern

Robert Gregory Southern, 55, of Smiths Station, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. 

Mr. Southern was born September 12, 1964 to John Alton Southern and Eileen Southern in Fort Benning, Georgia. He worked as an electric motor mechanic for Smith-Gray Electric until retiring due to health problems. He enjoyed fishing,hunting, Auburn football, cooking, and spending time with his family. Preceding Robert in death, are a daughter, Audrey Southern, a sister, Debbie Cook, and a brother, Johnny Southern. 

Surviving are his children, Joshua Southern, Raven Southern, Loren Van Pelt, and Gracelen Southern, sisters, Mary Back, Barbara Lafleur, Betty Carloni, and Margaret Kozee, brothers, Kenneth Southern , John "JJ" Southern and Jeffery Southern, three grandchildren, Jason, Draven, and Alex, close friend, Allon Norrell, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
