Rev. Anthony "Tony" Abram Obituary

Evangelist Rev. Anthony (Tony) Francis Abram, a devoted servant of the Lord and a beacon of faith, was called home on June 13, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on May 27, 1939, in McKeesport, PA, to Anthony William and Josephine Agnes Kartes Abram, he grew up to become a man whose life was a testament to the power of faith and the spirit of generosity. Rev. Abram passed away peacefully at home in Phenix City, AL, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering commitment to his faith and family. Rev. Abram was a cherished husband to Marjorie Kryzanowski Abram, his partner in faith and life for 62 years. Together, they walked a path of shared devotion, both to each other and to Christian Ministry. His departure is deeply felt by his beloved spouse, Marjorie, and family. Although preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Rev. Frank Abram, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, Rev. Abram's memory will continue to be honored by his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who looked up to him as an example in Christian Ministry.

Rev. Abram was conferred multiple Honorary Doctor of Ministry Degrees, and was a part of various fellowships, including the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, as Presbyter in the Slavic Conference in Canada and the Church of God of Cleveland, Tennessee. His passion for spreading the Gospel was boundless, as evidenced by his founding of Abundant Life Crusades. Through this ministry, he traveled to over 130 countries, holding mass evangelistic crusades, touching countless lives with the message of hope and redemption in Christ. His annual missions to Ukraine and Russia and other parts of the former Soviet Union with Global Vision Ministries - Walter and Nina Zygarewicz, were particularly close to his heart. Rev. Abram's commitment to these communities exemplified his desire to bring light to the world. He was instrumental in training many pastors and leaders as well as planting several hundred churches. His faith-filled life was marked by a generous spirit, always eager to share the love of God with those around him. Rev. Anthony Abram's life was a living sermon, one that spoke of love, service, and the grace of God. His impact on the world was profound, and his memory will be cherished in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we celebrate his life, we take solace in the knowledge that Rev. Abram has been welcomed into the eternal embrace of his Heavenly Father, where he will continue to watch over us all. His legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the faith he nurtured in the hearts of believers everywhere.
