Ray Gann, 67, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia.
Mr. Gann was born July 18, 1953 to Rex Gann and Lorene Jones in Columbus, Georgia. He was a jack of all trades and was a salvage hunter. Mr. Gann was incredibly gifted in the arts. He enjoyed music, especially playing the harmonica, guitar, and singing. He was also very creative making necklaces, earrings, and could paint anything always having a beautiful finished product. Mr. Gann loved spending time and taking care of his best friend, Ms. Sue. He will be greatly missed not only as a brother, but as a friend. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Samuel Gann, Rex Gann, and Jerry Wayne Gann.
Surviving are two sisters, Johnny Fay Jones and Connie Jones Clark; brother-in-law, Gregory Horton; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Gann and Carole Gann; nieces and nephews, Joshua Jones, Gregory Horton, Jr., Adam Horton, Cory Clark, Brook Gann, and Cameron Gann; his two dearest friends, Tony Spradle and Sue Singleton.
