Rachel Ann Myers, a beacon of warmth and joy, passed away on July 2, 2025, in Columbus, Georgia, at the age of 47. Born on September 10, 1977, in Phenix City, Alabama, Rachel's kind-hearted spirit was a gift to all who knew her. She was a daughter to Robert Eugene Copeland and the late Muriel Lou McCard, and a cherished spouse to David Keith Myers.
Professionally, Rachel was the epitome of hospitality, greeting guests with her radiant smile as a Front Desk Manager at various hotels. Her colleagues and guests alike were often touched by her genuine care and attention to detail. Her excellent computer skills made her an invaluable asset to her team, and her problem-solving abilities ensured that any guest's stay was pleasant and memorable.
Rachel's interests painted a picture of a woman who loved life in all its facets. She was an avid cook, always experimenting with new recipes and delighting her family with her culinary creations. Her love for her dog, Shanna, was evident in the time they spent together. Rachel found solace in her hobbies, which included painting pictures that often captured the beauty she saw in the world.
Rachel was also keen on keeping up with the latest news and games through her phone, and she had a penchant for crime and love stories on TV, which provided her with both excitement and romance.
Rachel's legacy is carried on by her loving spouse, David Keith Myers and her father, Robert Eugene Copeland. She is survived by her devoted uncle, Fred Copeland (Cheryl); her stepdaughter, Rachel Ann Clemmons (Jimmy); and her cherished step-grandchildren, Sophia and Madeline, who will miss her deeply.
Rachel's life was a tapestry of love, care, and service to those around her. Her legacy is not only in the lives she touched but also in the lessons of kindness, patience, and joy she imparted. Rachel Ann Myers will be dearly missed, but the memories she created with those she loved will be cherished forever, a testament to a life beautifully lived.
As we bid farewell to Rachel, we celebrate the time we were fortunate enough to share with her. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, and her memory will be a comforting presence in the hearts of her loved ones for all the days to come.
