Paul Eugene Peterson

Paul Eugene Peterson passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on August 11, 2023. He was 66 years old. Paul attended JVHS. Paul was a textile worker and retired from Pratt Whitney in 2020. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed playing golf, watching Alabama football (ROLL TIDE), playing poker with his buddies and playing chess with his grandson. He always had a smile on his face and he was an all- around people person. His favorite thing to do in this world was spend time with his family and to talk. to anybody and everybody.  

Paul is preceded in death by his parents: Hezzy Peterson and Martha Burkett Osborn; a sister, Barbara Vogt; a brother, Pete Peterson; a brother-in-law, Eddie Beasley and a dearly loved stepfather, Howard Osborn. 

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna Beasley Peterson; a daughter, Mandy Faulkner (Mike); a son, Paul Peterson Jr. (Melissa); a sister, Dianne Beaty (Ernie); a brother, Jeff Peterson (Lynn); a brother-in-law Steven Beasley (Crystal); a sister-in-law, Kelle Beasley; five grandchildren, Kayla, Victoria, Billy Bob, Cayden & Cailyn; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends from all walks of life. 

The funeral will be presided over by Pastor Jared Owens of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church. Deacon, Jeff Peterson will speak on behalf of the family. There will be no graveside service.
