Patsy's early years in Valley were filled with the love and guidance of her parents, Milford Allen and Mary Lee Norris. She grew into a woman of strong faith and character, traits that would define her throughout her life. Patsy's journey led her to the love of her life, William "Bill" Tate, with whom she shared many cherished moments until his passing.
Her professional life was spent at Southern Foods, where she retired after years of dedicated service. Patsy's work ethic and warmth made her a beloved figure among her colleagues and customers alike. Her involvement with Mt. Zion Methodist Church reflected her deep faith and her commitment to fellowship and service.
Patsy's legacy is carried on by her devoted daughter, Jane Fields, and her adored grandchildren, Keely Fields and Hunter Stuart. They, along with countless friends and community members, will forever hold Patsy in their hearts, remembering her for her generosity, her laughter, and the love she so freely gave.
Visitation for Patsy Allen Tate will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 9 am to 10 am ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL. The funeral services will follow on the same day at 10:00 AM ET at Colonial Funeral Home, with Rev. Marc Baugh officiating. Patsy's life will be celebrated with the same joy and love that she bestowed upon others throughout her remarkable journey.
