Patricia "Trish" Marshall Barberi

Patricia Marshall Barberi (Trish), a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on July 14, 1970, in Fort Benning, Georgia, Trish’s life was a testament to the power of selflessness and love. 

Trish’s life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family, friends, and community. She is survived by her loving spouse, Anthony Barberi; her three daughters, Hollie Hutto (Bruce), Ashlea Loveland (Brad), and Kristen Barberi; and her cherished grandchildren, Ansley, Lyla, Grayson, and Logan. Her legacy continues through the lives of her father and stepfather, Ross Marshall Sr. and Robert Duckett; and her four siblings, Ross Marshall Jr. (Alice), Deanna Marshall, Helen Marshall, and Leah Duckett, as well as numerous other family members.

Her life was also touched by loss, as she was preceded in death by her son, AJ Barberi; her mother, Maryann Crochet Duckett; and her aunt, Christine Mitchell. Despite these sorrows, Trish’s capacity for love and kindness remained undiminished, and she continued to be a pillar of strength for all who knew her.

Those who knew Trish will recall her big, kind heart and the way she always found the perfect compliment to brighten someone's day. She was the embodiment of selflessness, always putting others before herself. Trish was the friend or family member who showed up when you needed her the most, the one who would offer the shirt off her back without hesitation.

The words 'kind' and 'generous' merely begin to describe Trish’s character. Her legacy lives on not just in the love she gave or the kindness she spread, but also in the lessons of compassion and generosity she instilled in those around her. Her life was a blessing; her memory, a treasure. She is loved beyond words, and her presence will be missed beyond measure. Trish Marshall Barberi's memory will be cherished and kept alive by all the lives she touched. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held in honor of Trish on Thursday, October 9, from 2-3 PM EST, at Church on the Rock, officiated by Donnie Lumpkin. It will be an occasion to remember and celebrate Trish’s remarkable life and the immense impact she had on so many.
