Patricia M. Johnson, 82, of Salem, Alabama passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, Georgia. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 at 12:00 ET at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Salem, Alabama with Rev. Jordan Hoge officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama.

Mrs. Johnson was born January 4, 1941 in Kenosha, WI to Roy W. Schwandt and Mary Zielsdorf.  She was a hospice volunteer, had previously provided childcare for celebrities in California, loved dogs and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Salem, Alabama.

Mrs. Johnson is survived and loved by her spouse, Comer Johnson; three step-sons, Comer Wayne Johnson, Ronnie Lee Johnson, and Dana Caldwell; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
