Patricia Dianne Goss, passed away on March 22, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia. Born to Charles Raymond Price and Martha Christin (Houston) Atha on May 22, 1969, in Atlanta, Georgia, Patricia's warmth and kindness touched all who knew her throughout her 56 years of life.
Patricia's journey began in Atlanta, where her bright spirit and infectious smile were nurtured. She carried these traits with her as she embarked on life's adventures, eventually meeting the love of her life, Gerald Goss, in a quaint Hogansville soda shop. Their love blossomed, and they were wed, marking the beginning of a loving partnership that would endure for 28 years. Together, they built a life filled with joy, companionship, and mutual support in Phenix City, Alabama.
Throughout her career, Patricia's work ethic and friendly demeanor were evident to all who worked with her. She was a familiar face at several local businesses, including the classic cookie store at Peachtree Mall, Chick-fil-A, and day care centers where she devoted her time and care to the well-being of children. Her colleagues and those she served will fondly remember her dedication and service.
Patricia's influence extended beyond her professional life as she and Gerald became members of the First Baptist Church of Columbus, Georgia.
An avid enthusiast of dining out, Patricia often frequented Texas Roadhouse, where she relished in the simple pleasure of a good meal and the company of her husband. Her zest for life and her appreciation for the small moments were evident in her everyday actions and the way she embraced each new day.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Patricia is survived by her devoted spouse, Gerald Goss, her loving mother, Martha Christin Atha as well as her sisters Cindy Mercer (Lloyd) and Debbie Morrow. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on through the memories cherished by those who knew her.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Patricia Dianne Goss will be held on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Dr. Jimmy Elder will be officiating.
Patricia's life was a testament to the power of kindness, love, and community. As we say our final goodbyes, we honor a life well-lived.
