Pam Carroll, 68, of Fortson, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia.
Mrs. Carroll was born on September 17, 1953 to Oscar Wright and Mary Elizabeth Lawson in Cussetta, Georgia. She retired from Waffle House on Summerville Rd after 20 years. Mrs. Carroll was a die hard Alabama fan and even had her car painted crimson. She enjoyed traveling, bird watching, music and playing games. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Carroll; two children, Julia Ryals (Jeff) and Michael John "Bubba" White; and one brother, Earnest Edwin Barnes.
Surviving are her five grandchildren, Brice "Sunshine" Ryals, Ember "Shadow" Ryals, Jared "Blondie" Ryals, Rachel "Grease Monkey" White, and Aaron London White; and many adopted that she took under her wing; Twelve great-grandchildren; five siblings, Carrie Stacy, Michael Wright, Julia Popp (Brad), Christopher Long (Debb) and James Wiley Barnes Jr. aka "Chainsaw" (Darlene); her uncle, Sonny Wright, aunt Sarah Brown (Bill), uncle Jimmy Wright, and several nieces and nephews.
