PVT Adrian Mathew Turner

Adrian Matthew Turner, 24, born on 18 July 1999 in Duncan, South Carolina, died Friday, 22 March 2024, at Fort Moore in Georgia.

He was the son of Felix L. Turner, III and Sherry W. Turner.

He is survived by his siblings; Felix L. Turner, IV (31), Walker Moore Turner (26); Helena Anastasia Turner (22), Jason Wayne Paris (42), Justin Payton Paris (41) Misty Dawn Whitener (39). Also surviving is his maternal grandmother Wilma F. Clayton; his Aunts

Becky Turner Gambrell (Todd), and Terry Clayton Morrow; his cousins Ansleigh Gambrell Harrelson (31), Cohen Harrelson (5), Maribeth Turner Gambrell (24) and Leighanna Grace Gambrell (22).

He was predeceased by a brother, Nelson Jefferson Turner (2004-2004); maternal grandfather Kenneth F. Clayton (1938-2011); paternal grandparents, Felix L. Turner Jr. (1939-2019) and Linda M. Turner (1942-2020).

Adrian had enlisted in the Army and went to boot camp, at Fort Moore, Georgia, on 31 January 2024. He wanted to serve his Country.

Adrian was of the Christian Faith, He dearly loved and was a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was a very loving and caring young man, and loved his family greatly. He will be greatly missed.

The Family will receive friends at Stribling Funeral Home on Tuesday, 2nd of April, from 6:00 – 8:00 o’clock. The funeral service will be at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, 3rd of April, at 1:00 o’clock. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
