Muriel Copeland Obituary

Muriel M Copeland, age 71, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Monday morning, March 6, 2023 at Columbus Hospice House.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Bubba Copeland officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.

Muriel was born April 16, 1951 at Cobb Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Leonard Lee McCard and Doris Odessa Fortune McCard. She worked as a weaver at Bibb Mills, attended Faith Temple Assembly of God, enjoyed painting, yardwork and loved cats.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Eugene Copeland; a daughter, Rachel Ann Myers and husband David, 2 nieces, Donna and Linda.
