Michael Roy Way

Michael Roy Way, 65, of Fort Mitchell, Alabama passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM ET at Colonial Funeral Home's Chapel with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating. 

Mr. Way was born November 1, 1956 to Alfred Elden Way and June Temperance Way in Osaka, Japan. He was known by his nickname "shade tree" and worked in construction. Mr. Way enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. Above all, he will be remembered for his great heart and love of helping his family. He is preceded in death by six siblings.

Surviving are his siblings, Allen Way, Norma Way, Bonnie Purvis, Alfred Way, Jr., and Nancy Gonzalez; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
