Michael Edward Thibault

Michael Edward Thibault, 56, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. A Memorial service will be held, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00am ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama.

Mr. Thibault was born January 28, 1965 in Bebe River, New Hampshire to the late, Exyste Edward Thibault and Opel C. Harris Thibault. He began working at TSYS when they opened in Columbus, Georgia and thoroughly enjoyed working with computers.  Mr. Thibault was a frequent visitor of restaurants and casinos across the country.  He loved quality food and experiences, but most importantly the people; they undoubtedly loved him, too.  He was an exceptionally generous tipper who always took care of his friends and family, and could always light up a room with his personality.

Surviving are his close friends, Derrick Lee and Steven Commander; sister, Mary Fogle (Wayne); two aunts, Shirley Dixon and Hilda Cowen.
