Michael Scott King, 63, of Phenix City died April 3, 2022 at Bethany House Hospice in Auburn, Alabama. A private service will be held at a later date.
Scott was born January 14, 1959 to Catherine Pitts Milligan and Melrose Wayne King and lived in Phenix City his whole life. He had a big heart for his family and friends and loved helping others. He enjoyed going to gun shows, riding motorcycles and working on cars, especially Corvettes, of which he owned several through the years. He was an expert tile setter and for many years owned his own business, King Tile Co.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents Mary Louise Pitts Duncan and Richard Louis Pitts, his paternal grandparents Mary Delores and Melrose Wilford King, uncle Richard Louis Pitts, Jr. and nephew Christopher Harrelson. He is survived by his mother and father Lee Milligan, sisters Kim King Harrelson and husband Andy, Stacie Reddish and husband Richard, Melinda Day and Lisa Faircloth, daughters Tiffany Alisa King and Tina King Ridge, granddaughters Jadah Gilbert and Elizabeth Ridge, aunts Elizabeth Pitts Owens and Virginia Pitts Pope, nephews Clifford Harrelson, Ryan and Reid Reddish, nieces Brittany Day Cofield and Becka Day and a special cousin Donnie Pitts.
