Merylon "Nursie" Hand Dunn, 92 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Phenix City, Alabama. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 beginning at 3:00pm ET at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, Alabama with Reverend Tony Jernigan officiating.

Nursie was born January 31, 1927 to John L. Hand and Mary Lou Anderson in Phenix City, Alabama. She retired from Swift Textiles, was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, enjoyed working in the yard, gardening and shopping at Wal Mart.

Surviving are her daughter, Donna Eastridge; 2 grandchildren, Michael Eastridge and Shane Eastridge; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Bethany Baptist Church.
