Melonie Johnson Obituary

Melonie Ann Johnson 67, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 PM ET at Auburn Heights Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama.

She previously worked in accounting at Columbus Carpet Mills. Melonie enjoyed going to the casino with her best friend Debbie Woodham, she was a Big Roll Tide fan and she loved her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Johnson and her Mother Menelle "Nell" Jordan.

She is survived by two sons, Jason Pierce and Jeffrey Pierce; five grandchildren, Trey Buxton, Shelby Pierce, Kelly Pierce, Jordan Pierce and Jason Pierce, Jr.; and a daughter-in-law Lena Pierce.
