Matthew Samuel Tindall, 38, of Smiths Station, Alabama passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM EST at Colonial Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, Alabama. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM EST at Colonial Funeral Home.
Matthew was born October 21, 1984 to Samuel Tindall and the late, Barbara Wynn Galtier in Phenix City, Alabama. He was currently employed with Ritch Electric as an electrical apprentice and previously employed for many years with Complete Tire and Service as the Retread Production Assistant Shop Manager. He was a true movie buff, enjoyed the beach, fishing, and picking on those he loved. Matthew loved being a dad to his two children, loved his family and had the biggest heart for anyone he thought he could help. Other than his mother, he is preceded in death by two grandparents, Charles Lester Wynn and Betty Nelline Wynn; uncles, Eddie Noble and Robin Wynn and aunts, Jackie Huckaby and Brenda Nobles.
He leaves behind two wonderful children, Kyrin Tindall and Gabriella Tindall; a loving father, Samuel Tindall; sister, Christy Leverett (Johnny); grandparents, Ronald Gene Tindal and Isla Mae Tindal; step-father, Chris Galtier; aunts, Rhonda Gore and Karen Glisson; uncle, Kenneth Tindal, nephews; Braydon Leverett and Logan Leverett and many cousins and friends; and three dogs that were part of his family, Dixie, Pedro, and Gizmo.
