Marylyda Phillips

Marylyda Phillips, 84, of Phenix City, AL passed away on February 09, 2021 in Columbus, Georgia.

Marylyda was born on April 8, 1936 to Cornelius Burke and Lydia Cole in Meridian, Mississippi. She was a member of Ladonia Baptist Church, where she taught Kings Daughters Sunday School and volunteered regularly.

She is survived by two children, Darryl Phillips (Miriam) and Deborah Ann O'Neal (Terry); grandchildren, Nathan O'Neal (Leah), Jenna O'Neal, Aaron O'Neal (Christalle), Micah O'Neal, Chloie O'Neal, Robin Hobbs, Chris Hobbs, Amber Greenhaw and Brandon Greenhaw; great-grandchildren, Brooke Hobbs, Kayleigh Hobbs, Adam Hobbs, Roger Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, Bentley Thomas, C.J. Thomas, Callieann Greenhaw, Eli Greenhaw and Easton Greenhaw.

Funeral services will be on Friday, February 12th, 2021 at 2:30 PM ET at Ladonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Greg Hyche officiating.
