Mrs. Payne was born January 30, 1954, in Columbus, Georgia to the late Cecil and Mary Bond. She was employed with McDonald's.

Mary is survived by her children John Payne Jr. of Columbus, Georgia. Charles Payne (Angela Farmer) of Opelika, Alabama. James Christopher Olah and Charles Thomas Olah of Opelika, Alabama. Charlott Zucchelli of Port Orange, Florida. Sister Debra Powers of Columbus, Georgia.
