Mark Christopher Wells, aged 55, of Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL, passed away on May 15, 2025. A pipe fitter and welder by profession, Mark was known for his love for the outdoors, fishing, and dogs. He also had a passion for working on vehicles, often spending hours tinkering to make them run just right.
Mark is survived by his mother, Betty Wells; sisters, Becky Starr (Todd) and Tina Stewart (Steve); son, Chris Wells (Felicia); daughters, Jessica Heron (Blake) and Raygen Wells; niece, Shelby Ferris (James); grandchildren, Adley, Jaxon, and River. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Wells.
Mark's life was marked by his robust spirit and the simple joys he found in nature and with his family. He will be remembered for his skilled hands and kind heart, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2pm on Tuesday, May 20 at Schomburg Road Baptist Church.
