Maria Griselda (Davila) Lopez

Maria Griselda Lopez, 59, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia. Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021 beginning at 3:00 PM ET at The Village Church located at 1608 14th Court, Phenix City, Alabama 36867.

Ms. Lopez was born March 21, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to Francisco Davila and the late, Martha Garza. She enjoyed cooking, baking, driving around, and travelling. Ms. Lopez loved her grandchildren and taking care of people. She will always be remembered for her loving heart. Other than her mother, she is preceded in death by her twin sister, Isabella Soza.

Surviving are her four children, Maryann Flores, Marcos Flores, Rene Torres, and Ruby Curlee (Dean); eight grandchildren, Kayla Frye, Jakari Flores, Miguel Torres, Elijah Torres, Jamya Torres, Mersedes Meadows, Dorinda Jenkins, and Steven Jenkins, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Avery Frye and Aubrey Randall; brother, Daniel; niece and nephew, Victoria Soza and Milo Soza; beloved friend, Stuart Parker; close family friends, Mandy Mckissic, Isabelle McKissic, Anna Beth McKissic, Champ Wombles, KK Wombles, and Kylee Rolison; along with many fur grandbabies.
