Marcus Dwaine Fuller, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away on March 16, 2026, in Phenix City, AL. Born on January 6, 1958, in Ft. Benning, GA, Marcus's life was characterized by his unwavering dedication to his family, his passion for the outdoors, and a remarkable career.
Marcus grew up an avid baseball fan and player often saying he could have gone pro. Marcus's life was not only defined by his love for the sport but also by his commitment to his work. He spent 30 years at Swift Textiles, where he was a supervisor before retiring.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Marcus was an avid outdoorsman, finding peace and joy in hunting and fishing. He had a particular fondness for his trucks, a reflection of his hands-on, down-to-earth nature. His love for these hobbies was only surpassed by the love he had for his family.
Marcus's legacy is carried on by his loving spouse Cynthia Willford Fuller of Phenix City, AL, and their daughters, Crystal Fuller and April Fuller Mason (Tyson). He was the proud grandfather to five grandchildren, Heidi Mason, Aceln Mason, Logan Mason, Chase Mason, and Emberly Mason, who will miss his playful spirit and guidance. Marcus also leaves behind his mother, Gladys Alston Fuller, and his brothers, Ralph "Jim" Fuller, Jack Fuller, and Bill Fuller, each of whom shared in the many joyful and challenging moments of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Fuller.
Marcus Dwaine Fuller lived a life full of laughter, hard work, and love. His unwavering support and dedication to his family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Marcus's journey on earth has ended, but his story will continue to unfold in the memories he leaves behind.
