Marcia Gable Knox

Marcia Gable Knox, 67, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023. 

Mrs. Knox was born October 7, 1955, to the late, James Dana Gable and Carolyn Jean Elkins in Columbus, Georgia. She graduated from Central High School and was employed with Fieldcrest Mills for many years. She enjoyed walking, having a good time, and was an avid Alabama fan. Mrs. Knox loved people, especially her friends and family. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Knox; two sisters, Patricia Hudson; and Diane Adams; a brother, Darryl White; a niece, Sandra Pettee; godfather, James Lassiter; and godmother, Clara Lassiter.

Surviving are her son, Dana "DJ" Knox; brother, James Michael Gable (Sharon); nieces and nephews, Lisa Ann Haines (Keith), Carol Sue Upchurch, James P. Hudson, James Ash, James Eldridge, Jr.; great-nieces and great -nephews, Miranda Harris, Michael Thrower, Alex Hudson, Chris Mixon, Barren Pettee, James Eldridge III, Hailey Eldridge, Christien Eldridge, Gracie Eldridge, and Ellie Eldridge; great-great nieces and nephews, Jason Thrower, Calvin Jenkins, Sadie Thrower, Erica Harris, and Karli Hudson.
