Major (RET.) Charles Wesley Likens, Jr.

Major (Ret.) Charles W. Likens, Jr. died Sunday January 1, 2023 at his home.  Visitation will be held Friday January 6, 2023 at Colonial Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m. with military honors at 3:00 p.m. est.  

Major (Ret.) Likens, Jr. was born October 4, 1938 in Bethesda, Ohio to the late Charles Wesley Likens, Sr. and Sarah Mayers Likens. He retired from the Army with 20 years of service having served two terms in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne.

He is survived by his wife Sara Likens, of Phenix City, Alabama.  Children Michael Likens (Rachel) of LaBell, Florida. Tina Bobbitt of Salem, New Jersey.  Jason Likens of Phenix City, Alabama. Brother Jim Likens (Erline) of Hileah, Florida.  Grandchildren Victoria Dunaway (Sean) of Phenix City, Alabama. Andrew Langford (Amy) of Phenix City, Alabama. Alexandra Anderson (Steven) of Smith Station, Alabama. William Likens (Sandy) of LaBell, Florida.  AC Likens of LaBell, Florida. Robert Pangburn (Megan) of Salem, New Jersey. Seth Pangburn of Salem, New Jersey. Victor Likens of Phenix City, Alabama. Blaise Likens of Phenix City, Alabama.  Predeceased in death by his daughter Cindy Langford.
