Lura Frances Berry

Lura Frances Berry, 89, of Columbus, GA passed away on December 24, 2020 in Columbus, Georgia.

Lura was born on October 27, 1931 to Carroll Russell and Alma (Marlow) Russell.  She worked many years as a spinner at mill, and retired from Westpoint Pepperrell.  Lura loved playing board games, bingo, cards, and spending time with her Calvary Community.  For years she enjoyed her friends there, and always adored having her beloved family near her, especially her children and grandchildren.    

She is survived by four children, Jeff Berry (Sandra), Mike Berry (Joan), Jerry Berry, and Vickie Deal (Jimmy); eight Grandchildren, numerous Great-Grandchildren, and five Great-great Grandchildren; and her cousin, William Cox, and Sister-law Nell Russell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Berry and brother, James Russell.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28th, 2020 from 5-7pm ET at Colonial Funeral Home. 

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Parkhill Cemetery.
