Linda B. Perry Obituary

Linda Sue Perry, known to many simply as Linda, passed away on May 11, 2026, in Seale, Alabama. She was born in Savannah, Georgia, and lived a life marked by devotion to her family, her faith, her work, and the many animals she cared for and loved.

She is survived by her husband and best friend, Virgil Morris Perry, Jr.; her sisters, Barbara Bohannon and Debbie Willis; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Cutts; her grandson, Josh; her stepchildren, Tonya Perry and Lucas Perry; step granddaughters, Delanie and Miranda Blackwell; also her Sister In Law’s, Mickie Tracy, Annette Watson and Brother in law’s, Mike Perry (Traci), and David Perry

Each of them will carry forward the memory of her love, her laughter, and the many ways she enriched their lives. Linda’s family was blessed by her presence, her encouragement, and the steadfast care she gave so naturally.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Willie Blitch & Minnie L. Williams, sisters, Annette Thomas, and Carolyn Russell, sister-in-law Sue Crutchfield, stepson Jason Perry and her daughters,  Kimberly Cutts & Michelle Cutts.

Linda devoted many years of hard work to her career and retired from Fieldcrest Mills, where she served as a supervisor. She was respected for her dedication, her leadership, and her strong work ethic. In her role, she earned the trust and admiration of those who worked with her. She approached her responsibilities with diligence and pride, and her contributions were a meaningful part of her life’s story.

Outside of work, Linda found joy in the simple and meaningful things that brought comfort and happiness to her days. She loved rescue horses and had a special tenderness for animals in need. Her home was also shared with cats, including two named Garfield, and dogs who were dear companions to her. Her affection for animals reflected the generous and nurturing nature that so many admired in her.

Linda’s life was one of devotion, perseverance, and love. She faced both joy and sorrow with courage, and she remained a steady source of strength for those who knew her best. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, in the lives she touched through her work and kindness, and in the many moments of love she shared throughout her years.

Those who knew Linda will remember her as a woman of faith, a devoted wife and mother, a proud grandmother, a caring sister, and a compassionate soul. Her legacy is one of family devotion, quiet dignity, and a life well lived. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will remain present in the love she gave and the memories she created.

Linda Sue Perry will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
