Linda Myers Obituary

Linda Mae (Avant) Myers, 73, of Phenix City, AL passed away on November 20, 2021 in Phenix City, Alabama at her home.
Linda was born on September 23, 1948 to Thomas Othal Avant and Lillian Hazel (Jones) Avant in Columbus, Georgia.

Linda worked for over 31 years with BellSouth in Columbus, GA. After retirement she became a full-time care giver to her mother. She loved watching tv especially police shows and loved nature and animals. Linda was an avid Braves and Auburn Fan .

She is survived by one son, Stephen "Chris" Myers of Phenix City, AL; four siblings, Robert "Bob" Avant (Tamara), William "Bill" H. Avant, Wanda Sue Avant Wilchar, and Carolyn Blankenship; including numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Othal and Lillian Hazel (Jones) Avant.

Graveside service will be on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021 at 2:00pm ET at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. David Dollar officiating.
