Linda K. McConnell, 73, of Phenix City, AL passed away on September 26, 2020 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia.
She was born on June 26, 1947 to James and Beatrice (Renfro) Williams in Columbus, Georgia.
Linda worked as a nurse and was a restaurant owner. She was a devoted Alabama fan, an avid dart thrower, loved reading as well as her flowers and garden. She was a member of Faith Temple Assembly of God.
She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis "Bubba" McConnell; one son, Keith; her parents, James C. and Beatrice (Renfro) Williams; and one sister, Betty Sue.
She is survived by three children, Ricky Ray of Waynesville, NC, Vicky Deason of Phenix City, AL, and Miranda Ray (Story) of Hendersonville, NC; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Amber, Ricky Jr., Bryan, Chasity, Terrell, and Phoebe; two sisters, Bonnie Browder and Clora Tharp; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on held on Tuesday, September 29th, 2020 at 2:00 PM ET in the Fort Mitchell National Cemetery with Pastor Emory Evans officiating.
