Justin Alexander Downing

Justin Alexander Downing, 21 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away July 18, 2022 in Phenix City, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held July 30, 2022 at 410 21st Ave. Phenix City, Alabama at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Justin was born April 13, 2001 in Phenix City, Alabama to father John Eugene Downing Sr. and mother Juanita Hall.  He enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with his brothers. Justin graduated from Central High School in 2020 where he obtained a technical degree and was a Master SGT in the Navy ROTC. He was a smart, brilliant young man who left us too soon.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Juanita Hall (Johnny Lanier); two brothers, John Eugene Downing, Jr. and Joshua Bailey Downing; step-brothers Joshua Lanier (Brittany) and Cody Lanier; nephews, Joshua A. Lanier and Jason A. Lanier; grandfather Elwood Prosser, grandfather, George Hall Sr. (Molly); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Justin is pre-deceased by, his father John Eugene Downing Sr., grandmother, Darlene Hall; grandmother, Charlotte Prosser, grandmother,  Margaret Downing and grandfather, Eugene Downing.
