Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her unwavering faith, her loving heart, and her infectious sense of humor. She was Pentecostal and a faithful member of River City Pentecostals of Columbus, Georgia. Church was her joy, gospel music lifted her spirit, and listening to preaching strengthened her faith. Judy’s life was a shining example of love for God and family, and her presence brought warmth and laughter wherever she went.
She delighted in her grandchildren’s laughter, celebrated their accomplishments, and was always their biggest cheerleader.
Judy loved the simple joys of life—coloring, spending time with family, and cheering on her favorite television shows, including The Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy. She had a witty sense of humor and loved making others laugh, often lighting up every room she entered. She worked faithfully in her community through Buffalo River Services and the Wayne County Nursing Home, showing kindness and compassion to everyone she met.

“We sorrow not as those who have no hope, for we believe that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
