Judy (Helmuth) Flowers

Julia Ann Flowers, affectionately known as "Judy", age 74, passed away Monday evening, November 20, 2023 at her home.
Judy was a very private person and her family wishes to honor her as so.
Judy was born June 15, 1949 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late William J. and Julia Ruth Helmuth. She retired with 27 years service as asst. vice president of security fraud from Columbus Bank & Trust, now known as Synovus. Judy was Catholic by faith, enjoyed spending time on facebook, sewing, and crafting. Judy will be remembered as a wonderful loving mother, wife, and friend by those closest to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Evans.
Surviving are her husband, Gene Knox Flowers; daughter, Karen Blakey Logan (Keith); grandson, Blake Logan; step-son, Jason Flowers (Brandy); step-daughter, Tammy Knight (Davey); brother, Billy Helmuth; sister, Diane Cardwell; 6 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; and lifelong best friend, Arnell Green.
